The mCube is an open source OSM (Orientation Sensor Module) with both wired (USB) and wireless (Bluetooth) connectivity that allows you to measure the Earth's rotation using a 3-axis magnetometer and 3-axis accelerometer, as well as its tilt and elevation using a combination of a 3-axis magnetometer and a 3-axis accelerometer.
It is based on a 32-bit ARM (Advanced Risc Machine) Cortex-M4 processor running a high-performance sensor fusion algorithm with mCube Extended Kalman Filter (EKF). The algorithm can dynamically compensate for noise and offset from acceleration, gravity, and magnetic field data. It provides the user with easy-to-use tools for configuring and monitoring the sensor.
The software can be used to measure the Earth's position and orientation, as well as its acceleration and deceleration.
